Luke Carver is a British documentary photographer based in Bordeaux, working across food, wine, and rural life. His approach is immersive — living within the communities he photographs, from vineyard harvests to qvevri winemaking traditions in Georgia. His work has been recognised internationally, including the Louis Jadot Wine Photographer of the Year – Produce Award at the World Food Photography Awards 2026. He contributes regularly to Decanter Magazine.
Luke also founded La Petite Parcelle, a non-profit regenerative agriculture project with Château Brown, and teaches cinematography and photography at the 3iS film school and videography to wine tourism students at ISVV.
Luke has lived in Bordeaux since 2020.
